The Internet poses a number of risks to children. These include the exposure to offensive or dangerous material e.g. pornography, harassment and bullying; meeting inappropriate people through chat rooms and social networking sites such as Myspace and Facebook; and online grooming by child sex offenders.

If you are concerned a child is in immediate danger:
