AUSTRALIA might have been a key player in the decade-long effort to stamp out human trafficking in Asia, but the problem is worse and the criminal networks more sophisticated than ever, a new Unicef report finds.
Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People Campaign launches around the world
The ECPAT and The Body Shop Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People Campaign has launched around the world, with national launches in the Netherlands, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, the UK, Sweden, Singapore, New Zealand, Canada, the US and Hong Kong.

The report reveals that the trafficking of children and young people for sexual purposes in many countries is increasing and governments need to do more to tackle the problems and protect children and young people.
