One of Child Wise’s central roles is to provide immediate information, support, counselling and advice to help people deal with concerns relating to child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Individuals who are in contact with children often aren’t sure how to identify indicators of abuse, or who to turn to for help. Our Speak Up service provides parents and the community with professional support and advice on how to keep their children safe, and encourages the early recognition and reporting of sexual abuse.
Our Help desk offers free-of-charge expert guidance from our child protection specialists to assist individuals, organisations and services working with children to develop and implement child safe practices.
